Responsibilities
Design and Development:
Create comprehensive training programs and materials to meet the CRS Ecosystem International Programme’s training needs.Training Delivery:
Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars on various IT topics to colleagues at different levels within the organization in multiple countries.Needs Assessment:
Perform training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop appropriate training solutions per country.Program Evaluation:
Contribute to the evaluation of the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.Collaboration:
Work with country subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather and validate training content and materials.User Experience:
Set up, maintain, and review the flow and user experience of self-help applications.Website Maintenance:
Help maintain the Programme Induction and Training websites, ensuring they are current and valuable, including translation to local languages where necessary.Strategy Support:
Support the training and induction strategy and contribute to improvements in content and delivery mechanisms.Coaching:
Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees requiring additional assistance in training subject matter areas.Process Implementation:
Assist in the implementation and adoption of new processes, solutions, and applications by providing training and support to end-users.Documentation:
Develop and maintain training documentation, manuals, and online resources for easy reference and self-guided learning.Requirements
Experience:
Over 10 years of experience in large-scale insurance projects with knowledge of insurance concepts and terminology.Communication Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with business and technical experts.Flexibility:
Ability to work with diverse teams from different countries and cultures.Language Skills:
Fluent in English and French. Additional skills in Dutch and German are advantageous.Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is beneficial.IT Training Experience:
Proven experience as an IT Trainer.Certifications:
Certification in instructional design or training methodologies preferred. Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) are highly desirable.Management Skills:
Experience with demand management and the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.Learning Theories:
Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models.Technical Skills:
Familiarity with learning management systems, self-help applications, and e-learning platforms.Problem-Solving:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing technology and training needs.Presentation Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.Website Design:
Ability to design, develop, and maintain training and induction websites with a focus on user experience.Key Attributes
