Medior CDD Analyst – FEC Service Centre Wholesale Rural (Netherlands)

Your role

You will coordinate and facilitate Client Onboarding, Periodic, and Event-driven CDD reviews on behalf of Commercial Teams. You are responsible for the end-to-end FEC process for new and existing clients throughout their lifecycle. The role requires resilience, effective prioritization, critical thinking, constructive collaboration, persistence, and a strong sense of timing.

Top responsibilities

• Execute and monitor FEC and Customer Due Diligence processes based on input from internal and external stakeholders.
• Define research questions and methods, conduct investigations (data collection and analysis), and present findings with conclusions and rationale.
• Maintain contact with internal stakeholders, understand the environment and client situations, and identify and discuss developments and service needs.
• Actively participate in team activities and projects; share responsibility for delivering results.

Practical examples

• Assess missing documents and changes in risk profile for a high-risk Food Agri client due for an annual review; draft the CDD report, analyze transactions, and have the report quality-reviewed.
• For a time-sensitive acquisition with operations in Russia, consult Compliance for additional questions and request the necessary approvals.
• Investigate unexplained transactions by consulting colleagues and the Advisory team, raise additional client questions, complete the CDD report, and share the case and escalation path with the team.

Your profile

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Experience: Relevant medior/senior experience in the financial sector with knowledge of AML, CDD, and WWFT.
• Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Dutch is a strong advantage.
• Skills: Strong time management, organization, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment; results-driven and pragmatic with ownership of cases.
